Goshen High School to Host CTE Open House & Community Career Fair

Goshen, IN – Goshen High School’s FlightPath Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs will host a CTE Open House and Community Career Fair on Friday, May 15, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Chandler Education Center, located at 419 S. 8th Street in Goshen.
The event is open to students, parents, community members, and industry partners interested in learning more about the many career-focused opportunities available through Goshen High School’s CTE programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour facilities, meet instructors and students, explore hands-on learning experiences, and connect with local employers and community partners.
Programs featured during the open house include Advanced Manufacturing, Aviation, Building Trades, Welding Technologies, Engineering Technologies, Entrepreneurship Academy, Supply Chain Logistics, Radio/TV (GTV), Fire & Rescue, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Health Science (Pre-Nursing/CNA), and Education Professions.
“Our CTE programs are designed to prepare students for college, careers, and life through real-world, hands-on learning experiences,” said Jon Everingham, Director of Career & Technical Education. “This event is a great opportunity for families and community members to see the incredible work our students are doing while also strengthening partnerships with local industries and employers.”
In addition to showcasing student learning, the event will encourage local business and industry leaders to become more involved in workforce development through advisory committees, partnerships, internships, and career opportunities for students.
Goshen Community Schools continues to expand opportunities for students through FlightPaths, helping students discover passions, develop career-ready skills, and build meaningful connections with future employers and postsecondary pathways.
