Yondr Information Center

Yondr Information Center

Beginning with the 2026-27 school year, all GCS students in grades 7-12 will implement Yondr pouches as part of Indiana's new statewide requirements regarding student cell phone use during the school day.

This initiative is designed to support student learning, increase engagement, and create a more focused educational environment.

Why are we making this change?

Indiana Senate Bill 78 requires bell-to-bell restrictions on personal wireless devices.
• Research shows reduced distractions can improve learning.
• Schools implementing Yondr have reported increased engagement and improved school culture.
• Encourages face-to-face interaction and stronger student connections.
